Yes. Payments made using an orange paying-in slip are read into our computer system based on the reference number and therefore are automatically correctly booked. Any amendments to the personal details are carried out at the same time. |
| Can I pay my patronage contributions in advance? |
Yes, you can pay up to five years in advance. |
| Can I pay my patronage contribution by credit card? |
Payment by credit card is only possible for new patrons (new registrations). Otherwise, the most common methods of payment in Switzerland are transfers via bank or post office accounts. |
| Can I pay my patronage contribution by direct debit? |
No. The administrative work involved in managing such accounts is too high for this to be a viable method of payment. |
| We no longer have any children under the age of 18. Do we still need to pay CHF 70.-? |
No. Couples without any children under the age of 18 only need to pay CHF 60.-. Please inform us of the first name and date of birth of the second person. |
| I paid my patronage contribution just last summer and now I have already received another invoice at the beginning of the year. Is this correct? |
Yes. A payment made during the year – irrelevant of the date – is always regarded as being the patronage contribution for the current calendar year. Invoices sent out at the beginning of the year are for the renewal of Rega patronage for the new year. We are aware that patrons who pay their contributions towards the end of the calendar year do not profit from a full patronage year. However, here too we show some flexibility; payments made after 1 November of each year are counted as contribution for the following year with a validity until 15 may of the year after (coverage 1 ½ years approx.). |
